Rick Ceballos is a banjo, button accordion and bones player who has been performing and promoting traditional folk music in New England for nearly fifty years.

In the seventies he performed in Maine with The Cambridge Country Band and the Maine Country Dance Orchestra.
 Since arriving in Vermont in the 90’s, Rick has performed solo and as a member of many groups. The Hardscrabble Band, Last Night’s Joy, The Hip Replacements and currently with DaddylongLegs and Lausanne Allen, Rick’s musical partner for more than 25 years.

As a musical activist, Rick has promoted music and dance in his home town of Bristol. He served as Artistic Director for the Champlain Valley Folk Festival. Program Director for Bristol Best Night and currently promotes music events in his capacity as co-chair of 5Town Friends of the Arts, He also helps book acts for the very popular Cabin Fever music series at the Walkover Gallery in Bristol.

Currently Rick is working on a book of his original tunes written over the past forty years.
